Mac Allister was born in Santa Rosa, Argentina, on December 24, 1998. He is the son of former Argentine international footballer Carlos Mac Allister. Mac Allister began his career with Argentinos Juniors, making his professional debut in 2016. He spent three seasons with Argentinos Juniors before joining Brighton & Hove Albion in 2019.
Mac Allister has been a regular starter for Brighton & Hove Albion since joining the club. He has made over 100 appearances for the club and has scored 12 goals. Mac Allister has also represented Argentina at the international level. He made his debut for the senior team in 2019 and was part of the Argentina squad that won the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Mac Allister began his club career with Argentinos Juniors in 2016. He made his professional debut for the club in a 2-0 win over Quilmes on October 23, 2016. In 2019, Mac Allister joined Brighton & Hove Albion for a fee of £7 million. He made his debut for the club in a 3-0 win over Watford on August 17, 2019. International Career
Mac Allister made his debut for the Argentina national team in a 2-0 win over Morocco on March 26, 2019. He was part of the Argentina squad that won the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Mac Allister played in all seven of Argentina’s matches at the tournament and scored one goal.
